Meet Sophia
Sophia is a registered social worker with experience supporting children and families, particularly in emotional and social development, anxiety, and strengthening family bonds. Her client-centered, strengths-based approach combines play-based therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and attachment-based practices to help children navigate emotions, build resilience, and foster meaningful connections.
Sophia helps children express, understand, and process their feelings in a warm and engaging environment. Through play-based therapy, she creates opportunities for children to express themselves and address challenges in a way that feels comfortable and supportive.
Sophia also provides parenting support to improve communication and strengthen relationships within the family. She helps parents deepen their understanding of their child's emotional needs, while promoting healthy attachment and emotional well-being, tailored to each family’s unique dynamics.
Sophia is currently completing a Master of Social Work at the University of Toronto, where she continues to expand her expertise in clinical social work.
