This passion comes from her own lived experience as a busy mom, and from the many families, she has helped step into their potential for a happy life together.

Clinic Manager
Anne-Marie is a highly skilled and warm-hearted member of our team who oversees day-to-day office administration and scheduling. She works closely with clients and associates so that your overall experience with Attuned Families is both positive and meaningful.

Emilie has experience supporting children and families from the Neonatal-ICU to later teenage years. She takes a warm, family-centered approach to care, ensuring you remain informed each step of the way. Emilie comes with knowledge and interventions related to early developmental milestones, gross & fine motor movement, feeding & picky eaters, chronic pain, brain injury rehabilitation, and ADHD support.

With a professional background in community mental health and school settings, Ankita supports children and families with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. She works closely with her clients to navigate life’s challenges, and to support them in recognizing their strengths and in reaching their desired goals.

Laura has over 10 years of experience supporting children, teens, and their parents to better understand and cope with “big feelings”. She is passionate about working with parents to navigate and respond to their children’s emotions and to promote parent-child relationships.

With over 10 years of experience working with children and families, Michelle uses a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach and draws on various evidence-based approaches to create a therapeutic environment that is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on meaningful change. Michelle is now able to bring her passion for the arts into her work by offering Art Therapy.

Registered Social Worker
Ejemen has over 11 years of experience working with children, youth, and families within a variety of community and hospital-based settings. She has worked on multi-disciplinary teams in in-patient and out-patient mental health services, has a certificate in mediation from the Justice Institute of British Columbia, and has done extensive group facilitation work with youth and caregivers.

Tin Wing (Lydia) Tam MSW, RSW
Registered Social Worker
Lydia has over 6 years of experience working with children, youth, and parents facing social, emotional and relationship struggles, as well as trauma and crisis. Lydia’s training in Play Therapy, as well as her Clinical Training through The Garry Hurvitz Centre for Community Mental Health at SickKids, have equipped Lydia with the expertise and skill set needed to navigate complex challenges in children and families.

Melissa is a registered social worker with 20 years of experience supporting the mental health and well-being of infants, children, youth, and families in a variety of community and education settings. She is passionate about helping clients navigate a range of life challenges such as anxiety, low mood/depression, behaviour concerns, and parenting concerns. Melissa has also has a special focus on sleep difficulties.

Registered Social Worker
(On Mat Leave)Christina brings warmth and compassion to her work with young families, as well as new and expecting parents. She is highly trauma-informed, with a special focus on Infant and Perinatal Mental Health. She will work diligently to ensure that her relationship with your family will be a place of comfort and safety.

Jessica specializes in supporting children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, identity issues, autism, and family conflict. Through therapeutic processes, Jessica will work with you to develop the essential skills and insight needed to lead your life with more joy.

Cashew
Certified Therapy Dog
Cashew helps kids and grown-ups feel more at home and at ease in our already child and family-friendly therapy settings. Cashew is also a very popular visitor at schools. Cashew helps us learn about non-verbal communication, nervous system responses and reading subtle social cues.
When Cashew is not working, he enjoys walks in the forest, fetch, chewing sticks and napping.
